If it is the same passion he showed when being 'injured' in his playing days you can keep it. Most of his career with us was far from stunning. When he could be bothered he was brilliant...when. He has no record to give him the job. We've gone through many different managerial appointments under the moshiri regime.
Whatever caliber of manager we've appointed, nothing has worked.
Do you believe it's time for Big Dunc to inject his passion into this club once more, as our leader?
Hate to say it but Gerrard has the balls to do the rounds in the hope of his dream job. Dunc will not take that risk. Says it all.Always been a massive Dunc fan and possibly would given him a chance when he was caretaker, but the longer he’s here the less I want him to take over.
Disappointed that he hasn’t gone out and managed someone for experience and to prove himself.
Hopefully not TOO random...I’d give a randomly selected person off this forum the job ahead of Benitez. So yeah, Dunc will do.
You're right about Rooney doing a terrific job at Derby. The phrase “just give it to Dunc” winds me right up.
It smacks of apathy and desperation.
I much prefer “We should appoint Duncan Ferguson to be our next manager “.
Personally, I’d have him and Rooney now.. The job he’s doing at Derby is some leadership btw.
