Our reputation is quite frankly in the dirt at this point. I can’t see us hiring another respectable manager (such as Carlo) after sacking yet another so quickly. The next hire will either be a gamble or a retread (Bobby, Howe, etc).

The bigger worry is we can’t even build a roster to handle a European-less season. After spending all this money over the years we have absolutely no depth and a weak academy.

I can only think of a Ferguson / Rooney combo being even ok.

No one expects them to take us to title glory and win the FA Cup, but they are the best go to people to try and inject some passion into the players to sort out this mess.

If we go down, then it was always going to happen and neither would get the blame.

It would be unanimous that this group of players have done this al themselves and are beyond help.
