Same! I had no options to stop it so literally pulled the plug out of the wall, wasn't even bothered if it meant recovering the whole PC, Win 10 can do one.

I later found a way on google to get rid of the program trying to force it on me, I forget what I did but I've not heard a peep since.

Tbh it's turned out alright, thought I'd see how I got on with it and I quite like it.
 
My start button isnt working im currently doing some stuff I found on the net to try and fix it.

Horrible people Microsoft, I didnt even want Windows 10, it just started installing itself.

Windows 7 was ace. It was XP redux. Less resource-consuming than vista and with the same familiar look and feel for navigating the settings and file structure. Windows 8 was an outright abomination, windows 10 is better than that but it they've changed things unnecessarily.
 

Just turned on my HP envy to log in here and 10 had auto installed itself.
Can't find any of my documents. Will it have deleted them or how can i retrieve them?

On my work computer I had Windows, which was utterly terrible. Fortunately it broke and the replacement must have been old stock as it's got Windows 7 on it. I'm the envy of the whole office.

Sounds like the last thing I do before going on holiday (29th July) will be installing W10 then! Love 7 but can't miss the opportunity to get a free legit version of 10..

Hey JR, how are you finding it? Just ordered a Lumia 640 which I think will come with 8, but I'm planning on putting 10 on asap.
